Senate Fails to Override Keystone Veto

A vote on Wednesday in the Senate failed to override President Obama's recent veto of the Keyston XL oil pipeline legislation. The 62-37 vote did not reach the two-thirds vote needed to repeal the veto. Failure to override the veto ensures Obama's veto will stand and any future vetos will likely withstand similar efforts.
