Apple Bans Felons from Working on Construction of New Offices

Apple says works with a felony conviction or facing felony charges "does not meet owner standards" for construction of the Cupertino campus

Apple is getting criticism from state officials after the company ordered several hired construction workers who had prior felony convictions to leave the construction site of Apple's new Cupertino campus in January. According to documents the San Francisco Chronicle received from construction companies, "for work on the Apple site, anyone with a felony conviction or facing felony charges 'does not meet owner standards.'"
