Seattle's Alaskan Way Viaduct Construction Causes More Concerns

Excess sinking of the Seattle viaduct has continued with officials unsure of the cause

While the tunneling machine known as Bertha is out for repair there are still other concerns for the construction of Seattle's Alaskan Way viaduct - mainly sinking. The viaduct has already dropped one quarter of an inch and is continuing to deteriorate. While the viaduct is still safe for travel, continued sinking or a collapse are still a concern for officials.
