Detroit Metro Area Plans $300M in Road Construction Projects

More than 13 road construction projects in six counties will result in more than $300 million of work for the Detroit metro area

Thirteen road projects totaling more than $300 million are planned or already underway across the Detroit metro area, including projects in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Monroe, Livingston and St. Claire counties. Almost every major highway will have some work being done. The biggest project will be a $70 million restructuring of I-96 and U.S. 23 in Livingston County.
