The Wheel Loader Training Module features progressive learning exercises — from beginner to advanced — designed to gradually build student skill and confidence. Student objectives range from basic understanding of the controls and vehicle/bucket positioning to earthmoving and transport, excavation, truck loading and safe load handling.
The wheel loader training module also features the most advanced simulations available for soil digging, piling, erosion and compaction — powered by decades of research. Simulation of the wheel loader is built on proven Vortex dynamics and includes complete simulation of the mechanical and hydraulic systems, and interactions with the worksite.
This level of realism ensures that trainees develop skills and worksite awareness that transfer directly to the real machine.
Integrated training tools include an optional student management system that allows instructors to generate reports from training sessions, and review current and past performance.
“The Vortex Simulator is one of the greatest tools we have,” says Dub Huggins, Training Manager at Bakersfield (California)-based Crane Service Industries. “Vortex reduces the time that we have to spend out on the equipment, and it has reduced our maintenance and fuel costs phenomenally. The wear and tear reduction on the equipment out there has been dramatic.”
“The Vortex Simulator closes the loop on training. We’re confident that we are supplying the best and safest possible training to our operators,” says Mark Oterdoom, Project Manager, Mammoet.
CM Labs’ Vortex training solutions are used at hundreds of installations internationally, to help apprentices develop the skills, coordination, and worksite awareness they need to master safe, efficient operations. The extensive Vortex training suite already includes RT mobile crane, tower crane, tracked hydraulic excavator and other training modules.
