A 60-story, solar-powered residential skyscraper is being planned for Melbourne, Australia. The skyscraper will feature a glass exterior wrapped in solar cells that will provide residents with "off-the-grid" power stored in Telsa-like batteries. It will be the country's first building to include solar cells on the facade.
Known as the Sol Invictus tower, the building will feature a curved exterior designed specifically to capture the sun's movement throughout the day.
