The Sacramento Kings NBA area received LEED Platinum certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) — the highest level of recognition for environmentally conscious buildings and organizations. The arena, Golden 1 Center, also became the first indoor venue in the world to earn the USGBC LEED Platinum designation.
