The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) has prepared "A Guide to Selecting a Concrete Contractor," available to ASCC members only at no charge. The piece was designed to be most useful to contractors dealing with residential customers or small business owners.

The brochure explains that contractor selection should be based on more than price alone. It provides a checklist of items such as references, drawings, safety practices, insurance coverage, years in business, etc., that allows an owner to compare one contractor to another.
