ACPA Offers Basic Concrete Pavement Course


American Concrete Pavement Association

The American Concrete Pavement Association is conducting its "Concrete Pavements 101" course from April 27 through 29, 2009, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Downtown/Town Lake, in Austin, Texas. Revised for 2009, this in-depth training course presents the theory and practice of designing, constructing, and rehabilitating concrete pavements.

The course is intended for contractors, engineers, technicians, inspectors, laboratory personnel, and others with a need for in-depth knowledge of concrete pavement technology. Both theory and practice are addressed in this course, which covers basic definitions to the latest innovations in design and construction methods.

Professional Development Hours
Conference participants who complete the three-day training will receive a certificate of completion for 19.5 professional development hours (PDH's) for the completion of this program.

About Concrete Pavements 101
ACPA's Concrete Pavements 101 Course gives participants a working knowledge of the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (M-E PDG) methodology and hands-on training with the M-E PDG software.
