TORRANCE, CA - MK Diamond Products, Inc. announced today that it has acquired the Sawtec brand from Blastrac NA. The Sawtec brand provides contractors with a range of dust-free tools and grinding accessories for surface preparation and concrete repair. Sawtec will be marketed as a sub-brand of MK Diamond which will preserve its successful reputation and brand identity within the construction industry.

The acquisition combines one of the oldest family owned leaders of cutting tools with a new line of products for surface preparation.

Product Line:
The Sawtec product line will include surface preparation equipment, dust-free tools for cutting and widening joints, grinding accessories and shrouds. These products are designed for contractors, public works departments, rental companies and other cutting/demolition professionals.
