Outstanding Lineup for March 2008 CSDA Convention

Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association

(St. Petersburg, FL) - The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association is pleased to announce an outstanding lineup of presentation speakers for it's 2008 Convention at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa on March 4-8. "The theme for this 36th annual gathering of cutting professionals is Adventure and CSDA has planned a program packed with plenty of opportunities for members to be adventurous during business hours or when relaxing" said CSDA President Tom Stowell.

The convention program kicks off with Charles Vander Kooi who has been a very popular keynote speaker and is returning for the fourth time with a new session on Exit Strategies. CSDA is also honored to have Steven Witt, Director, Directorate of Construction at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration make a presentation as part of the OSHA/CSDA Alliance. As OSHA's top administrator in the Construction Directorate, he is uniquely qualified to provide an update on current enforcement, cooperative programs and resources.

These two honored guests will anchor a program filled with challenges to encourage attendees to add some adventure to their business life. Additional sessions will include "Advanced Methods for Concrete Corrections, Surface Prep and Polishing," "Maximizing Wire Saw Performance," "Collections and Receivables," and "Online Training." CSDA roundtables will address "Hydraulic or Hi-cycle: What Best Fits your Company's Needs?" and "Securing Your Business Future with Business Succession."

The 2008 Convention will also feature the popular Tech Fair. This tabletop exhibition is a special one-day event that showcases products specific to the sawing and drilling industry through literature and tabletop demonstrations. Contractors will have the opportunity to exchange information and pose questions in a personalized, one-on-one setting with technical representatives from exhibiting manufacturers and affiliates that is quite different than the atmosphere at the large trade shows.

The adventure doesn't stop with business sessions and participants members can take a break to golf at the Badlands Golf Course, climb the Red Rock Mountains, show off their bowling expertise on the Red Rock VIP Lanes, tour Hoover Dam or arrange their own recreational activities.
