CHARLOTTE, NC - For the third straight year, Sakrete will partner with several National Football League (NFL) teams to raise money for the homeless through its Sakrete Sack Program.
The Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills Radio and Atlanta Falcons will participate in the 2008 program. At the end of the regular season, the player with the most sacks from each participating team will have $5,000 donated in his name to HomeAid, a leading national non-profit provider of housing for the homeless. The overall league sack leader will have $10,000 donated in his name.
Last year, the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons raised $40,000 for HomeAid. The Panthers, Giants and 49ers participated in inaugural Sakrete Sack Program, which raised $12,500.
