Hanson Pipe & Precast Announces New Regional Presidents

DALLAS , April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanson Pipe & Precast, a division of Hanson Building Products North America , is proud to announce the promotions of two members of the Hanson family. Eric Wheeler has been promoted to Hanson Pipe & Precast's Northeast region president and Sue Tanenbaum was promoted to the Hanson Pipe & Precast's Western region president.

"Both Tanenbaum and Wheeler are very deserving of these positions," said Richard Manning , Hanson Building Products North America president and chief executive officer. "I have every confidence in their leadership capabilities."

Eric Wheeler joined Hanson in 2001 as the Pacific Northwest area manager. His new responsibilities include overseeing operations in Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Ontario, Rhode Island, South Dakota, North Carolina and Virginia. Prior to his promotion, Wheeler was president of Hanson's Western region.

Before joining Hanson Pipe & Precast, Wheeler was the president and chief executive officer of The Quikset Organization's East Coast division. Active in the concrete industry, Wheeler has participated in the Pacific Northwest recast Concrete Association and the Underground Contractors Association and is a Rotary Club member.

Sue Tanenbaum's new responsibilities include overseeing operations in Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Prior to her promotion, Tanenbaum was the vice president and general manager of the Northeast region's Midwest area. Tanenbaum joined Hanson in 1999 with the acquisition of Ontario, Canada - based Loc Pipe Inc.
