Doosan Infracore Portable Power Donates To ARA Foundation Auction At The Rental Show 2009

Statesville, NC - Doosan Infracore Portable Power has donated three products to the 2009 ARA Foundation Auction scheduled for March 4 at 6:30 p.m. during The Rental Show 2009 in Atlanta. Included in the live auction are a G10 PowerSource mobile generator, BX80WH single-directional vibratory plate compactor and an RX-344H upright rammer. The total equipment donation has an estimated value of $15,100.

The G10 PowerSource mobile generator has a rating of 10 kVA and offers key features of a high-performance generator for rental applications. The PowerSource generator features best-in-class motor starting capacity through a high-quality alternator with AREP (Auxiliary Regulation Excitation Principle) technology. The G10 has a rugged enclosure and an environmental skidbase providing a minimum 110-percent containment of all generator fluids.

The BX-80WH has an operating weight of 207 pounds (94 kilograms) with a centrifugal force of 4,000 pounds (18 kiloNewtons) and a vibration frequency of 5,600 vibrations per minute. It travels at a maximum speed of 82 feet per minute, with an area capacity covering 8,073 square feet per hour. The compaction depth of the BX-80WH is recommended to 14 inches (350 millimeters).

The RX-344H upright rammer, the largest in the Doosan Infracore Portable Power lineup, comes standard with a Honda recoil start, four-cycle engine. The average impact per blow is 3,400 pounds (15.1 kiloNewtons) on this model, with 600 to 750 blows per minute. The RX-344H has a low-profile, lightweight design and a low center of gravity for self-balances, providing greater maneuverability and control around jobsite obstacles.

The annual auction, held during The Rental Show, generates funds for the American Rental Association (ARA) Foundation. The ARA Foundation was established in 1976 and offers support for programs, including a scholarship program, a one-on-one business consultation program called Rental Equipment Advisory Program (REAP), an industry disaster relief resource center and disaster relief program and an international exchange program for young rental professionals.
