TORONTO - Performance Contracting Group (PCG), one of the largest specialty contractors in the United States, has chosen to integrate their financial and project management functions with CMiC software. By replacing its current systems with CMiC Enterprise, CMiC Project Management and CMiC Integration, PCG will achieve a significant return on investment while optimizing business processes.
"Our overall evaluation process led us to pick CMiC as our partner," said Mick Matthews, senior vice president of Performance Contracting Group. "Our company made the decision to move to an integrated system that a 3rd party software vendor would support and enhance. CMiC met all of our requirements and we are looking forward to developing a partnership that both companies can leverage."
Based in Lenexa, Kansas, PCG's largest subsidiary, Performance Contracting Inc, is the No. 1 Wall and Ceiling Contractor in the U.S and the company, as a whole, has about 3,000 ongoing projects at a time. For the last 20 years, PCG has been using a combination of homegrown, internally developed software packages and heavily customized 3rd party accounting software to meet their business needs. Though the systems served the company well, the lack of integration and multiple vendor databases became an issue.
