RACINE, WI, October 8 / MARKET WIRE/ --
Case Construction Equipment announced it has completed the acquisition of select assets of Western Power & Equipment of Vancouver, Wash. As a result of the acquisition, the company is now called Case Power and Equipment. With eight locations in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, each dealership sells, rents and services Case construction and industrial equipment.
"We made this acquisition to ensure that existing and prospective Case customers continue to receive the top-caliber construction equipment and support they need," said James Hasler, vice president, Case Construction Equipment. "Case Power and Equipment serves an important geographic region, and we are committed to expand the customer relationships developed by Western Power & Equipment."
Hasler added, "Our 140 employees are devoted to providing an excellent customer experience. This includes understanding each customer's business and specific equipment needs. Whether customers need parts, service or maintenance work -- or a finance package that helps take advantage of the new Economic Stimulus Act -- we're here to deliver a superior customer ownership experience."
In addition to the name change to Case Power and Equipment, Case customers will see noticeable differences at each of the eight locations, including planned upgrades of the existing facilities and infrastructure. To better meet the rental needs of local customers, the company is adding a full range of construction equipment to its rental fleet. To keep equipment running more efficiently on the jobsite, the company introduced the "Power Plus" program in which an employee will inspect a customer's new machine seven times within the first year of service.
Each location will soon feature the new Case Power and Equipment signage. The company's new Web site, www.CasePower.com, also lists the products, services and hours of operation of each branch.
