MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Damage Prevention Conference and Expo (DPC) is pleased to announce that Mike Kemper, President and CEO of Northern Pipeline Company, and Mark Rosenker, Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), will be keynote speakers at the 2008 event scheduled for this December 9-10 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Proactive industry leader Mike Kemper will deliver a luncheon keynote on December 9, discussing Cross Bore damages and the way Northern Pipeline has responded to the issue as an underground construction company in its own internal construction policies and practices, and in its activities on the state and national level to effectively address the issue.

"Having the President & CEO of Northern Pipeline Company address our attendees is very exciting," comments Show Manager Scott Odin. "Cross Bore damages affect professionals in the damage prevention industry daily, and Mr. Kemper will be able to offer valuable insight into this highly debated issue."

On December 10, Mark Rosenker returns to DPC for the second time to speak about his experiences as Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. He will discuss pipeline related incidents and damage prevention efforts from the past year, along with recommendations from the Board.

"Mr. Rosenker's presentation was extremely well received last year, and we're thrilled to have him speak again and add his perspective on damage prevention progress since he last spoke to us," adds Odin.
