Terex Q2 Results Buoyed by Bucyrus Sale

Westport, CT - Terex Corporation announced income from continuing operations for the second quarter of 2011 of $0.9 million, or $0.01 per share, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $13.1 million, or $0.12 per share, in the second quarter of 2010.

There were also after-tax charges related to the pending acquisition of Demag Cranes AG of approximately $3 million. Adjusting for these items, income from continuing operations would have been approximately $11 million, or $0.10 per share.
