Omaha Standard PALFINGER Announces Several Organizational Initiatives to Support the Company's Rapid Growth

The company has made changes to five positions.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA -- Omaha Standard PALFINGER announced several organizational initiatives in support of the company's strategic initiatives and rapid growth.

Mark Whaley has been named President of Omaha Standard PALFINGER. Mark brings more than 30 years of industry experience, joining OSP in September of 2008 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales and was later named Executive Vice President in October of 2009. Since joining the PALFINGER family he has strengthened the position of Omaha Standard PALFINGER in the market place, putting particular focus on end-user and distributor relations and has also played a key role in the development and launch of new product lines.

Robby Simard has been named Executive VP of Operations. Robby joined OSP in 2007 and his outstanding leadership has been instrumental in the transformation of the company's manufacturing facility and implementation of the company's strategic plan. Robby is a US Air Force veteran and prior to joining OSP provided management consulting; leading several lean installations within a variety of industries.

Eric Kluver has been named Finance Director, PALFINGER Asia Pacific. Eric has been with the company for ten years serving in various management roles in Operations and Finance. He contributed greatly to the transition of Omaha Standard into the PALFINGER group. In his new role, Eric will be responsible for all finance and support functions for PALFINGER Asia Pacific working out of the area's Singapore office.

Wolfgang Steinhart will become VP of Finance of Omaha Standard PALFINGER and will also retain his duties as PALFINGER North America's Group Finance Manager. Wolfgang joined the company in October 2010 and has been with PALFINGER AG since August 2006.

Jim Brown who currently serves as Omaha Standard PALFINGER's Product Manager will now oversee OSP's design engineering staff in addition to his current duties. Jim joined OSP in 2000 and has recently played a key role in the company's new product development and launch activities.
