Spancrete Machinery Announces New Executive Leader

Dan Willems is the vice president and general manager of Spancrete Machinery Corporation.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Spancrete, the leader in the precast/prestressed concrete industry, named Dan Willems to the role of vice president and general manager of Spancrete Machinery Corporation where he will oversee every operational aspect, including sales initiatives and manufacturing excellence.

Willems is now responsible for developing corporate strategy and improving business operations for the machinery division, which includes increasing sales, identifying new revenue streams, improving manufacturing quality, and growing the parts and service business. Willems’ previous international experience will also benefit the organization as he works closely with the company’s global customer base.

“Dan is a wonderful new addition to the machinery team,” says John Nagy, president and CEO of Spancrete. “He is a proven leader who encompasses both technical expertise, as well as significant experience with global negotiations. Willems most recently worked in senior management roles involving project management, engineering and research and product development. He also has significant experience overseeing partnerships both in the United States and abroad. Willems received a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee before earning a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University-Fullerton. He also earned a master’s of business administration from Marquette University.
