JCB Wins Order for its High-Speed Military Excavators

British heavy construction equipment manufacturer JCB Inc. has won a multimillion dollar order from the Swedish government for its Savannah-built high- speed military backhoe called a High Mobility Engineered Excavator - or HMEE.

British heavy construction equipment manufacturer JCB Inc. has won a multimillion dollar order from the Swedish government for its Savannah-built high-speed military backhoe called a High Mobility Engineered Excavator - or HMEE.

The 10 machines, ordered by the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration on behalf of the Swedish Armed Forces, will be delivered by the end of next year and ready to go into service in 2012.
