United Rentals Named a 'Top 100 Military-Friendly Employer'

United Rentals earns award based on the strength of the company's military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service and workforce policies regarding National Guard/Reserve service

Greenwich, CT - United Rentals Inc. today announced that the company has been selected by GI Jobs magazine as one of the nation's "Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers for 2010." Over 5,000 U.S. companies with revenues of at least $500 million were considered for the honor, which was awarded based on the strength of a company's military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service, and workforce policies regarding National Guard/Reserve service.
