ABC Awards Lift Company for Being Safe

Trico Lift wins ABC construction safety award.

Trico Lift has received the American Builders and Contractors Chesapeake Shores Chapter Safety Award for what the Chapter calls "meritorious safety performance." The award was presented to Trico Lift, an aerial work platform company, at the ABC's Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet in September for achieving the highest amount of man hours without a lost time or recordable incident.

Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction association representing more than 23,000 construction and construction-related firms in more than 79 chapters across the United States.

"Our vision is to be the best aerial work platform provider in the industry and we know that to be the best, we must remain diligent about risk awareness and assessment," Company President and CEO Ken Pustizzi explained. "We have five goals that we believe will help us achieve our vision and, of course, Safety is goal #1."

Trico Lift, headquartered in the Northeast, is known in the aerial work platform industry for its award-winning safety program with the most recent acknowledgements being a Contractor Merit Award presented to Trico Lift by the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association as well as the American Subcontractors Association of New Jersey's Annual Safety Award.

The 57 year-old equipment organization has locations in the country's Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Central and Southwestern regions offering a complete line of lift equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts for rent or sale. Trico Lift currently has a fleet of nearly 3,000 units including aerial work platforms, light towers, vans and trucks. In addition to serving the construction and facilities maintenance industries, its client base includes several convention centers; major sports franchises, the petrochemical industry, and several major shipbuilding, energy and aerospace organizations.
