At bauma 2010, International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, there will be more national pavilions than ever before. At the current stage in planning, national pavilions from 11 countries are being organised for the next event.
Group stands from (in alphabetical order) Canada, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Korea, Poland, Spain, and the US have been a regular feature at bauma trade fairs, but in 2010 there will be a new group stand from Brazil and two additional stands from the United States in the section on mining, extraction and processing of raw materials sections and tunnel construction.
"The increased demand for national pavilions, but also for individual exhibition space, particularly in the mining section, shows how well established this section has now become, since its inclusion for the first time in 2004, just two events ago. Mining and tunnel construction are promising markets for the future of the industry worldwide, which bauma, as the world´s leading trade fair, can showcase extremely well," said Eugen Egetenmeir, a member of the management board of Messe München GmbH.
Of the total number of exhibitors at bauma 2007, 605 (from 31 countries) came along to promote their products and technology for mining, extraction and processing and tunnel construction - in the exhibition halls and on the open-air site. Also in 2007, the bauma Forum information platform was positioned for the first time in the midst of the exhibition, where it has been a great success. In 2010, too, the bauma Forum in Hall C2 will be an important platform for exchange of experience between experts from companies and science and research, as well as trade visitors.
bauma 2010 takes place from 19 to 25 April 2010 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.
The latest products from the international construction, building-materials and mining machinery sectors will be on show at bauma in Munich between 19 and 25 April 2010. In 2007 3,002 exhibitors from 49 countries used bauma and Mining, the world´s biggest trade fair for the sector, as an innovations and marketing platform. bauma 2007 broke a number of records: as compared to the previous event in 2004, visitor numbers increased 20 percent to over 500,000 trade visitors from 191 different countries.
