To enhance customer and distributor support, Terex Roadbuilding appoints Jeff Thress as the full-line road building equipment district manager for the Eastern and East Coast states.

For the past 12 years, Thress has served as the regional sales manager for the Terex® Bid-Well line of automatic roller pavers. Thress is now the single-source contact for customers and distributors for all Terex road building equipment lines, making it easier and more efficient to do business with Terex Roadbuilding, thanks to new simplified sales and support processes for equipment manufactured in Canton, SD, Fort Wayne, IN, and Oklahoma City, OK.

“Our district manager team is diverse and experienced with each member offering skill sets critical to the success of our customers, distributors and the Terex Roadbuilding line,” says David Rinas, director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding North America. “Thress brings 40 years of sales experience to our field sales team. He has helped customers relying on Terex Bid-Well equipment to successfully complete their projects, and we look forward to this carrying over to the entire Terex Roadbuilding line.”

Thress can be reached at 740-503-5768 (cell) or [email protected].

In related news, the company also appoints Jim Aslin as the full-line road building equipment district manager for the Northeast. He has more than 30 years of field service and sales experience, and for the past five years he has sold the Terex® mixer truck line. Aslin is now the single-source contact for customers and distributors for all Terex road building equipment lines.

Aslin is also a member of the product development team working on updates to the Terex® front discharge mixer truck line.

“Jim has decades of experience with front discharge mixers, selling his first Terex truck in 1983," says Rinas. "In addition to helping position the mixer truck line for the future, his vast experience in the construction and mining equipment industries will be a significant benefit to our customers and distributors for the entire Terex Roadbuilding line.

"We will continue with the same multichannel sales strategy for Terex Roadbuilding equipment, and Jeff and Jim will work to strengthen the distribution network within their territory for asphalt mobile equipment and concrete paving and production equipment to provide local sales and service support for our customers,” adds Rinas.

Aslin can be reached at 260-341-8528 (cell) or [email protected].
