Bulk and Pump DEF Prices Drop, Totes Register Marginal Increase

US diesel-exhaust-fluid pump price fell by one cent to $2.74 per gallon between February and March 2012

With one exception, diesel-exhaust-fluid (DEF) prices for tote refills increased or were maintained between February and March 2012 across the references covered by DEF Tracker, as suppliers reacted to increasing raw material costs.

The U.S. DEF pump price fell by one cent to $2.74 per gallon between February and March 2012. This continued a marginal downward trend, which has seen the price drop two cents since December 2011.

The truck stop network for bulk DEF added 21 new locations over the reporting period, bringing the total number of trucks stops selling DEF across North America to 446.
