The Construction Marketing Association's annual Construction Marketing STAR awards and the new Construction Marketer of the Year Awards honor marketing excellence of construction industry professionals.
The Construction Marketing STAR Awards recognize the best marketing across 16 categories (78 subcategories) including advertising, Internet, packaging, trade shows and more. Each category will have STAR and SUPERSTAR winners along with a BEST in SHOW. When applicable, you may enter an execution in more than one category.
The new Construction Marketer-of-the-Year award recognizes individuals or companies for marketing excellence with regional and national winners.
Both association members and non-members may apply for the awards. Winners receive a frame-quality, metallic embossed certificate and optional gold-plated statuette from the same firm that manufactures the Oscar awards.
How to Enter
The CMA STAR awards are exclusively for marketing programs and campaigns in the construction industry. Entry must have been produced after January 2011. Applicants do not have to be members of the Construction Marketing Association, although entry fees are higher for non-members.
Entry fees by the early entry deadline of September 7, 2012 are $65 per entry for members, $80 per entry for non-members. After September 7, entry fees are $85 per entry for members, $100 per entry for non-members. Entries must be date-stamped or postmarked by September 21, 2012. Mail-in entry fees may be paid by check (made payable to Construction Marketing Association) or by credit card. For credit card payment, please call (630) 868-5061 for processing.
Judging will be completed by October 31, 2012. Winners will be notified within seven business days. STAR, SUPERSTAR and BEST in SHOW winners will receive a commemorative certificate, with the option to purchase a statuette/trophy. BEST in SHOW Winners will receive one complimentary 24K Gold statuette.
