Yanmar Reorganizes with New Management Team

Yanmar announces corporate reorganization, new management team and increased focus on Central and South American markets

Yanmar America, a supplier of compact utility tractors, construction equipment, marine and industrial diesel engines and energy systems, recently announced a major corporate reorganization, a new management team and an increased focus on the Central and South American markets.

The changes, effective January 11, 2013, seek to enhance Yanmar’s ability to meet customers’ needs and support strategic growth initiatives.

Doug Englert has been promoted to Director of the Parts Division which consists of two business units: Parts Department and Remanufacturing. Englert will continue to oversee the operations of the Parts Department Business Unit for the near future. John Dodge will be heading up the newly created Remanufacturing Business Unit.

Paul Manger has been promoted to Director of the Equipment Division which consists of two business units: Ag Equipment and Construction Equipment. Reporting to Manger and heading up the Ag Equipment Business Unit is Keith Wainwright. Manger will continue to oversee the operations of the Construction Equipment Business Unit for the near future.

Tim Fernandez has been promoted to Director of the Engine Division which consists of three business units: Industrial Engines, Energy Systems and Marine Engines. Reporting to Fernandez and heading up the business units are Justin Rupar - Industrial Engines, Yoshinori Jodo - Energy Systems and Tom Watson - Marine Engines.

In addition to his duties in Marine Engines, Tom Watson has been promoted to Director of Brand Management where he and his team will focus on building the Yanmar brand on a global basis.
