Haulotte Group, L’Horme, France, has formed a new subsidiary, Haulotte India, based in Mumbai. The move is part of the company's strategic focus on "customer proximity," and its intention to capitalize on a market where it sees a strong potential for growth.
“Haulotte Group is building a strong sales network in BRIC nations [Brazil, Russia, India, China], thanks to their own entitites and a dealer’s network, in order to establish a proximity relationship with customers and provide them with products that fit their requirements as well as additional services,” says Alexandre Saubot, chief operating officer for Haulotte.
“Haulotte Group has established a sales and service operation in Mumbai, one of the key places of this huge country with a great potential market for people and material lifting equipment,” said Souma Ray, manager for Haulotte India.
“The boom of AWP demand in BRIC nations is mainly driven by the safety standards, which will be implemented in the area. Haulotte India is proud to be a key partner of rental companies’ network and end-users who are involved in this key issue,” said Damien Gautier, Asia-Pacific area director for Haulotte.
