Registration Now Open for 2014 Astec Advanced Customer Schools

Company expands its training options by offering two different levels of classes

Registration is now open for the 2014 Astec Advanced Customer Schools. Attendees can choose to attend one of these four sessions: January 6-9, January 13-16, January 27-30 or February 3-6, 2014.

Astec expands its training options by offering two different levels of classes in 2014. Level I classes will be offered January 6-9 and January 13-16. Level I basic training classes follow the format that established Astec’s reputation for customer education by providing an overview of tips and techniques for better plant operation. These classes are intended for first time attendees to the Astec Schools.

New Level II classes will be offered January 27-30 or February 3-6. Level II classes narrow the focus and provide intense training in four main areas: Burners, Drums, Controls and Electrical Systems. These classes were created for returning students who wish to further their training. Previous attendance at any other Astec Advanced Customer Training session is a requirement.
Astec Advanced Customer Schools teach hands-on maintenance and advanced troubleshooting techniques to fix problems fast. Instructors include Astec Engineers and Service Technicians with decades of field experience.

During the four full days of instruction, students will have the opportunity to meet with instructors and fellow students to exchange information. Additional networking opportunities are provided during breakfast and lunch each day, and at special dinner receptions each night.
