Nobel Prize Winner and Former U.S. Secretary of Energy Headlines Demolition Convention

Dr. Steven Chu will be the keynote speaker at the 2014 National Demolition Association Convention in Las Vegas

Nobel Prize-winning American physicist and former U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu – recently named as one of the most prominent men in America – will be the keynote speaker at the National Demolition Association’s 41st Annual Convention in Las Vegas, February 22-25, 2014 at The Mirage.

In his address to the gathering of demolition professionals, Dr. Chu will explain how recent innovations in energy technologies were fostered by a culture of cooperation and leadership within the scientific and business communities. In addition to discussing the world’s energy future, the Stanford University professor will also share the valuable lessons he learned that can be used to promote a culture of innovation within any business. Dr. Chu was recently featured in Esquire magazine as one of the most influential men in America.

The NDA Annual Convention opens on Saturday February 22 with the 27th Annual National Demolition Association Golf Tournament at the Arroyo Golf Club. On Sunday, the event continues with delegate registration, Association meetings, and an Opening Night Cocktail Reception. For the first time, the NDA is also offering a unique Leadership Training Program for industry executives, with limited enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Monday, the Convention resumes with General Sessions and the opening of the Exhibit Hall.
