JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, announced that the company was selected by United Rentals as “Strategic Supplier of the Year.” The company also won this award in 2010.
“We are honored to receive the United Rentals Strategic Supplier of the Year Award,” said Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president of JLG Industries, Inc. “This award is particularly meaningful to us, because we were judged by United Rental employees, and as such, it confirms that our customer-focused culture is both appreciated and achieving results as it provides our customers with unparalleled service, quality, and support.”
As the recipient of this award, JLG was judged and selected by United Rental employees via an internal survey. This survey went to all of United Rentals’ branches and was shared with more than 800 managers, sales, and service personnel. The award also takes into account the supplier’s impact on United Rentals’ corporate objectives through the delivery of exemplary quality, service, and efficiency.
