Tekla has announced the winners of its 2014 North American BIM Awards. The model competition is held annually and recognizes companies for exemplary use of BIM and Tekla Structures across three categories: best use of BIM, steel and concrete.

This year marks the 12th annual competition and the winners in each category are:

BIM: San Jose Earthquakes Stadium by Steel Systems Engineering, Inc.

Steel: Daytona International Speedway, Frontstretch Grandstands by Barton Malow

Concrete: Daytona International Speedway, Grandstand Replacement by McGill

“It is very rewarding to see Tekla Structures in action and each year, the entries for this competition become more and more impressive,” said Hans Ehrnrooth, president of Tekla, Inc. “These projects demonstrate the results that can be achieved by maximizing the use of Tekla Structures and BIM to collaborate and streamline projects for maximum efficiency and cost savings.”

Voting for the 2014 Tekla Global BIM Awards is currently underway and will conclude on November 28. Winners will be announced December 9, 2014.
