Register today to attend the International Concrete Polishing and Staining Conference 2015. With 13, hour long education seminars geared for both beginner and advanced contractors, the ISCPSC Seminars are tailored for those interested in starting a business or for those wishing to hone your polished concrete skills.

Concrete Contractor magazine’s regular contributor, Jim Cuviello, owner of Cuviello Concrete, www.cuvielloconcrete.com ,will be on hand to teach “The Secrets to Specifying Bonded Abrasive Polished Concrete for New Construction” on Monday, February 2 at 2:30 pm in room S222 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

This class will go through the steps of educating all involved (architects, clients, general contractors, flatwork contractor, etc.) in the processing of a concrete floor.
The manufacturing of flooring takes place in a manufacturing plant under the ownership and control of one company, the result is a product with known characteristics such as durability. Polished concrete is manufactured on site and can involve six or more independent companies as well as countless other companies/trades working on top of and around the onsite manufacturing plant. Cuviello will explain why specifications alone will not ensure a successful polished concrete installation. He will explain what education is needed beyond specifications to ensure your client gets the end result that makes EVERYONE involved in the project coming back to you for future projects.

Jim Cuviello has been in the Concrete Polishing industry for 12 years, and a founding member of the Concrete Polishing Association of America. As a contractor who specializes in processing concrete surfaces to a polished finish, only performing large scale commercial work and regularly works with and presents to architects, Cuviello is able to bring a perspective on the requirements for successful polished concrete installations that sales reps, manufactures, architects and general contractors cannot.

Be advised, there is no onsite registration for this event. Registration for the ICPSC 2015 closes at midnight January 27, 2015. For more information and to register click here: http://www.icpsc365.com/icpsc2015/attendee-registration-2015/
