New Online Resources Provide Concrete Information

Rebecca Wasieleski
By Rebecca Wasieleski

In the last several installments of my Editor's Letter I've suggested ways to take advantage of a downturn and use any extra time you might have for personal development, to implement new ideas into your company, and to recharge your business for that time when the market turns around and you're too busy to work on things of that nature. This issue I'm writing to tell you I'm following my own advice!

Don't get me wrong - the Concrete Contractor staff doesn't sit around the office wondering what to do - we are a very busy bunch of people. But we have taken advantage of our not-so-hectic schedules to create a few resources to help our readers.

We recently e-mailed our new, bimonthly Decorative Concrete E-newsletter. You might already subscribe to the monthly Concrete Contractor E-newsletter, which offers up-to-date news and helpful articles related to the concrete industry. But we've found a good chunk of our readers wanted more information geared specifically toward the decorative industry.

Each issue of our Decorative Concrete E-newsletter will feature industry news, training and education events, an article by Bob Harris, jobsite articles and business management tips. You can visit ConcreteContractorMag.com to sign up for the Decorative Concrete E-newsletter.

Another exciting announcement is the introduction of a comprehensive and fully interactive buyer's guide to the equipment you need on the jobsite. EquipmentConnection.com isn't just for concrete contractors - it contains thousands of products from manufacturers of every type of construction-related equipment.
