Editor joins Cygnus construction website

Cygnus Business Media and Cygnus Interactive are pleased to announce that Sam Simon has accepted the position of associate editor with ForConstructionPros.com. Simon is moving from his associate editor position with Law Enforcement Technology and Law Enforcement Product News magazines to pursue this new venture.

Graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2004, Simon joined Cygnus as an assistant editor a week after graduating. Promoted to associate editor in January 2006, Sam has been with the public safety group for the entirety of his two-plus years at Cygnus.

"I'm very excited to take on this incredible opportunity," says Simon. "I think there is tremendous potential to make the website into one that construction professionals turn to first for all of their needs." Simon also noted that there are great Web portals within Cygnus that have laid a successful path to help model ForConstructionPros.com after.

"I'm also very fortunate to be able to work with the members of the construction group," says Simon. "Being able to draw upon the expertise and talent of this group will serve as a great advantage as we build the site."
