Case Pilot Controls
Case now offers pilot controls as standard equipment on its 440CT and 450CT compact track loaders and as an option on its 430, 440, 450 and 465 skid-steer loaders. Pilot controls can be ordered from the factory with H or ISO patterns, while factory kits are available to permanently change the pattern from H to ISO or vice versa. Both patterns require a shorter throw, which is more comfortable for the operator and less fatiguing.

POD-2000 Grinder
Blastrac's new POD-2000 grinder features high-velocity dust ports that rotate with the diamond tooling for virtually dust-free grinding. This technology eliminates after-the-job cleaning and allows operators to see the grinding work taking place. Ideal for small to medium jobs, the 370-lb., 22-in. cleaning pass can grind up to 700 ft. per hour.

Caterpillar Telehandlers
Caterpillar recently introduced four new models of telehandlers: TL642, TL943, TL1055 and TL1255. Based on JLG designs with Caterpillar components, these machines range in capacity from 6,500 to 12,000 lbs. and offer maximum lift heights of 42 to 55 ft. All four machines offer three steering modes and use a proven powershift transmission that offers four speeds forward and three reverse.

Sed de Saber Construction Edition
Help Hispanic construction workers learn English as a second language with the Sed de Saber Construction Edition from Retention Education, Inc. and the Home Builders Institute. The program teaches users 500 vocabulary words, sentence structure and 340 phrases useful in a construction site work environment. Users can learn at their own pace or follow the study guidelines of 30 minutes a day for four months. Kits are fully reusable.
