Freightliner LLC has named Robert Harbin as president of Freightliner Customer Chassis Corp. He succeeds Reid Bigland, who was promoted to president and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Canada.

Harbin most recently served as director of Tritec Motors, a joint venture between DaimlerChrysler and BMW in Brazil. He has also held several management positions within DaimlerChrysler.

Jeffrey Gambrill has been named vice president, marketing and sales, Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. Gambrill has over 20 years of experience in product management, marketing and sales management. Most recently, he was vice president of sales, marketing and service for Siewert Equipment Co.

Stone has also appointed Steve Miller to the newly created position of director of strategic sourcing and logistics. Miller will be responsible for overall management of the company's purchasing and logistics functions, as well as vendor relationships. He previously served as technical services manager for the past five years.

George Taylor has assumed the role of director of Caterpillar Power Systems North America. Formerly the marketing manager for the Caterpillar Asia Pacific Marketing Division in Singapore, Taylor replaces Jim McReynolds, who will now lead the company's Global Paving Division.
