February 2007 marks the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the first factory-integrated tractor-loader-backhoe. In 1957, the Case 320 was the first loader-backhoe purpose-built at the plant for construction applications.

Case models built in 2007 will feature a 50th anniversary decal on the loader arms and backhoe. Customers can also purchase a special 50th Anniversary Edition, which features bundled options and a special limited-edition decal. In addition, the company will display a custom black anniversary model featuring a frosted window treatment of the original Case 320 in one window and a futuristic model in the other.

John Edwards, the company's founder, has been appointed to serve as a consultant with Paladin following the acquisition. Marty Sullivan, vice president and general manager of Paladin's Light Construction Equipment group, will be responsible for overseeing the integration of Magnum's products into the group's design, manufacturing and distribution operations.

In 2007, Wacker Corp. is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the United States. Although the company's roots date back to 1848 in Germany, brothers Peter and Hermann Wacker brought the operation to Hartford, WI, in 1957. At that time, the company was successfully run by three employees and offered one product, Hermann Wacker's soil compaction invention, the Rammer. Today, the company employs over 650 workers nationwide and offers over 150 product models in five strategic business fields.
