Wacker compact excavators
Thanks to the recent merger of Wacker Corp. with Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen AG, a leading Austrian-based compact equipment supplier, Wacker is rapidly building its compact equipment product portfolio. On the heels of its recently introduced compact wheel loader line, the company has launched five new models of compact excavators.

The lineup ranges from the 1.4-ton 1404 with a 7-ft. 4-in. maximum digging depth to the 8.0-ton 8003 with a digging depth of 14 ft. 1 in. Yanmar three- and four-cylinder diesel engines generate from 24.3 to 69.5 hp.

The 8003 incorporates a short tailswing, while the 38Z3 and 50Z3 are true zero tailswing machines with a tail that stays within the tracks for greater visibility and performance in tight work areas.

Standard features include rubber tracks, dozer blades, boom-mounted working lights and control pattern selection system. Short or long dipperstick versions are offered for most models, along with a choice of canopy or full cab work platform with standard air conditioning. A full line of attachment tools are also available.

Mustang 2803ZT
Mustang Mfg. introduces a new zero tailswing compact excavator model to its 12-model line. The 2803ZT goes a step further toward enhancing stability with a longer undercarriage, a sturdy track width and an optional counterweight.
