S.T. Engineering to Acquire B.R. Lee
Vision Technologies Land Systems (VTLS), a U.S. subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. (S.T. Engineering) has entered into an agreement to acquire B.R. Lee Industries, Denver, NC, for $129 million, according to Tan Pheng Hock, president and CEO of S.T. Engineering.
"The addition of B.R. Lee to the S.T. Engineering family expands our presence in the U.S. market and is another important step towards our becoming a major commercial specialty vehicle and equipment player in the key North American and Asian markets," he said.
B.R. Lee, featuring its LeeBoy and Rosco brands, manufactures about 65 models of equipment for road construction and maintenance and has a distribution network throughout 50 states and 10 Canadian provinces.
"S.T. Engineering offers B.R. Lee the infrastructure and vision to expand on a global landscape," said Kelly Majeskie, president and CEO of B.R. Lee.
