NPE to offer credits for NPCA members

Members of the National Pavement Contractors Association (NPCA) can now receive educational credits for attending designated seminars at National Pavement Expo, Jan. 30 - Feb. 2 in Nashville.

The six sessions eligible for five credits each are: A-2, Discipline and Firing Within the Law; A-7, Successful Infrared Repair - A Profitable Alternative; B-11, Pavement Design for Contractors; B-16, Adding Service - And Profits - To Your Striping Business; C-26, Pricing Your Work By Value: How You Can Be the Market Leader; and D-32, Understanding Pavement Defects.

NPE has always provided contractors with Certificates of Attendance, but this is the first time NPE has offered credits through an association. For complete descriptions visit www.nationalpavementexpo.com.

Ransom to keynote NPE “Women in Sweeping” breakfast

Catherine Cyr Ransom will be the keynote speaker at the National Pavement Expo “Women in Sweeping” breakfast Feb. 1 at the Renaissance Nashville Downtown in Nashville. Ransom has extensive environmental protection background with The Accord Group, a Washington, D.C.-based firm that focuses on environmental and public works issues.
