Gehl All-Wheel-Steer Loaders

Gehl Co. introduces four 80-Series All-Wheel-Steer (AWS) loaders. The model 280, 480, 480T (telescopic), and 680 AWS loaders are fitted with "intelligent drive" technology for smooth work cycles. The AWS units feature operating weights from 7,055 to 12,015 lbs., bucket capacities from 1.44 to 2.34 cu. yds., and rated operating loads from 4,055 to 5,700 lbs. EPA Tier II diesel engines range from 38 to 76 hp.

Electric Heat Legend Screed

LeeBoy recently introduced its electrically heated Legend Screed System, the first electrically heated screed available for commercial class pavers in the 16,000-lb. and under range. The system is available for the LeeBoy 8500 and 8515 models with an 8-ft. to 15-ft. paving width. The screed is also available on the 25,000-lb. 8816 model with an 8-ft. to 15.5-ft. paving width. The Legend Screed also features bull-nose screed plates, angle of attack controls, front-mounted screed extensions, and crown/invert control.

Cummins Engine on 4000 Sweeper

The Johnston Sweeper Co. 4000 model mechanical street sweeper is now available with a 240 hp turbo-charged Cummins diesel engine that meets and exceeds all EPA emission standards. Coupled with a new Sauer traction pump, the 4000 model has been re-engineered to achieve a smooth and reliable drive system. The hydrostatic drive allows sweeping speeds as low as ¼ mph and transit speeds more than 55 mph. Popular features, such as dump truck-like load discharge, 5.6-cubic-yard hopper, and front-and-center-mounted cab, are still standard.

Donaldson FKB-Series Air Cleaner

The FKB-Series air cleaners provide a space- and cost-savings option for small- to medium-duty diesel engines. With improved air-flow restriction for better fuel economy and more horsepower, this compact design meets OEM size and performance requirements. The plastic housing tolerates off-road environments and the FKB-Series air cleaners are suitable for medium-dust conditions with engine airflow ranges between 35 and 400 cfm. Available in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 8-in. models.
