The new single-man DuraMaxx is truck-mounted and uses cab-mounted controls. It incorporates a 7-yd. aggregate hopper box, high-volume blower, and heated emulsion tank creating a permanent, waterproof patch ready for immediate traffic. The DuraMaxx is powered independently from the truck engine by an 80-hp John Deere diesel engine. The aggregate feed system works by gravity and venturi effect. A non-kink heavy-duty hose carries the aggregate to the repair area, and hydraulic boom cylinders provide smooth articulation for precision placement.
