EQUIPRO alligns with Lincoln Electric
EQUIPRO, a subsidiary of Wacker and a network of independently owned light construction equiment service centers, announces its strategic alliance with Lincoln Electric.
Currently, EQUIPRO's non-competing alliance partners include ICS, Mi-T-M, MK Diamond, Sullair and Wacker, with expectations to add between two and four more major manufacturing partners to complete the business model.
EQUIPRO services commonly used equipment in the light construction industry, including chainsaws, pressure washers, portable air compressors, pneumatic tools, floor saws, rollers, generators, pumps and more. Customers can drop off their machines at the local EQUIPRO Service Center or have it picked up and delivered after repair.
JLG Chairman awarded PAL Card
Bill Lasky, chairman of the board, president and CEO of JLG Industries Inc. was awarded a PAL Card (Powered Access Licensed-Registration) and Operator Training Certificate following the completion of an aerial work platform operator training course held at JLG's McConnellsburg training center.
The training program and PAL Card were developed by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and their North American subsidiary, Aerial Work Platform Training (AWPT). Each year, more than 50,000 people are trained and receive a PAL Card from one of over 230 IPAF/AWPT training centers worldwide. The PAL Card is recognized as proof of training in many countries and in the United States by organizations such as the Scaffold Industry Association.
