The Staxo 100 is a high-performance, load-bearing tower for commercial or heavy civil construction. The galvanized steel frame shoring system features incorporated connecting components and can be completed in a variety of ways to fit a wide range of field conditions. The Staxo 100 can handle a leg-load capacity of up to 90 kips per leg. Staxo 100 frames are available in three different heights. Safety features include a high level of stability, built in ladder system, and tie-off points for personal harnesses and fall arrest equipment.

The extreme height of some of the towers was not really a problem, since the system is very easy to put together and also very safe. Doka’s drawings showed where and how often to brace the towers to the existing building and Schuster Concrete was very precise about following the plans.

The basic profile of a MonoKast wall includes a 10-inch wide header beam at the top and a 10-inch wide footing beam at the bottom; both of which are 3-1/2 inches thick with solid concrete and reinforced steel. The concrete shell is two inches thick, fiber reinforced, and is 5,000 psi code compliant.
