- Protecta's new ridge/sheathing-mounted disposable roof anchor is easy to install. Once installed, this roof anchor offers an OSHA-approved, compatible connection point for a snap hook or carabiner, ensuring the end-user that a forced rollout of the snap hook will not occur. When a job is done, the anchor can be physically removed from the roof or the user can "knock" it down into the sheathing where shingles can be placed over it. This anchor is rated for 1,800 lbs. and is available in 12-pack units.
