MVP plugs (multi-voltage plugs) have been added to the Maxstar 150 TIG/Stick welder, enabling it to connect to 115V and 230V receptacles. Three models include the S (Stick-only), STL (Stick/TIG Lift-Arc start) and STH (Stick/TIG high frequency and Lift-Arc start). The STL and STH models feature a redesigned, robust 6-pin receptacle for use with a foot pedal or remote control switch. Weighing only 13.7 lbs., the Maxstar 150 models deliver DC Stick/TIG output of 150 amps at 30% duty cycle using 230 VAC power. A durable polypropylene X-Case protects the welder and its accessories.
