CS Unitec PowerGrit Air Chain Saw can cut ductile iron pipe, cast iron pipe, PVC pipe, HDPE pipe and cured-in-place piping from one position, reducing the need for excavation for underground pipes. Available with 15- or 20-in. bar lengths, the saw can be used hand-held to cut pipe up to 20 in., and cuts wet with water lubricating bars. Patented diamond segments grind rather than tear the material, which reduces vibration and eliminates kickback. Pneumatic power eliminates the exhaust fumes associated with conventional saws.
