This machine-to-machine (M2M) asset tracking solution utilizes Global Locating System (GLS) technology, which provides the benefits of GPS wireless tracking systems without the high power consumptions of onboard calculations. Instead, the Service Operation Center performs positioning calculations centrally and is able to calculate position in seconds. The InSight Web application has 50 separate standard reports and custom reporting features, plus an adaptable application program interface that can accept data feeds from other systems. Weatherproof Lexan polycarbonate construction ensures the onboard unit is tough enough to withstand the harshest environments.
